Twin Sisters- two Ceramic Wall Sculptures

The making of The Twin Sisters was a challenging commission for me.
The mother of these young women asked me to design a wall sculpture for her twin-daugthers.
She had kept my Art from the Heart business card for seven years, especially for this special birthday of her daughters
I wanted to express the differences as well as the similarities of the Twin Sisters in both wall sculptures.
During the meeting I had with her and her nice and spontaneous daughters, they told me they were born under the sign of Aquarius, the Water-bearer.
Immediately inspiration came up, and showed me a vision to make two fairy tale like figures wearing a (water)bowl.
In each bowl I placed one half of a twin-crystal, the bond between the sisters.
On the head of the fairy tale-like figures I placed a tiara, one of them with a small rose quartz-bowl in it, in the other tiara a little amethyst-bowl.
